Three years have passed since the release of the heavy abomination called Chapter II: These Binds Will Set You Free from Slovenian eclectic post-metalers The Canyon Observer, who combine extreme spectrums of the metal genre, atmospheric noise and thundering, slowly rolling escalations. Two chapter EPs, released in 2011 and 2012, are now a part of the band’s ancient lore. TCO’s present lies in their upcoming full-length album, which will carry an uncompromising title – FVCK. It will saw the band in its newest experimentations with massive, drifting soundscapes, intertwining guitar complexities of Gašper Letonja, Miloš Milošević and Nik Franko with insane vocal skills of Matic Babič and more sonical de(con)struction than ever before.

FVCK will be released on November 19th this year as a result of the cooperation of Slovenian KAPA Records (Ludovik Material, ŠKM banda, Coma Stereo …) and French Vox Project (Žen, Vlasta Popić, Plèvre …). It will be relased digitally (»name your price« on Bandcamp and through streaming services (Apple Music/iTunes, Spotify, Tidal, Google Play …)) and physically – on CD and vinyl.

But The Canyon Observer does not condone waiting for new music for such long times, which is why they are also presenting a fruit of coworking with Blaž, who is a Slovenian producer and plays with the band’s drummer Simon Intihar in a mad mathy EDM duo. Blaž took the band’s best known song, »My Will« from TCO’s first EP, and added his flash to create a work of originally atmospheric sludge metal interpreted through electronic eclecticism, which ranged from pleasing ringings through ritualistic rhythms to dubstep whirlings.
