The sophomore release from Ljubljana’s incarnation of indie trash, punk and eletronic music, titled Model Generation, has become revealed a bit more today. Garage-styled »Workin’s Ass« comes after the first sonically playful single »Summertime«, which was birthed during Ment Festival Ljubljana. The second single stands hand in hand with the band’s new video, straight from their upcoming record.
The visual stampede of recordings from the tour in Austria, Germany, Czech and Croatia, which were taken by Lucijan Prelog, was montaged and produced by the band itself. It features Ludovik’s ex-drummer Jernej Koren, while the actual track over the video features the band’s new drummer, Jaka Berger. The song flows through exhilarating intermezzos and sharp screams all while escalating into its final boom, which is backed by unsurprisingly provocative and critical Tina’s lyrics.
Model Generation will be released on 15th March on KAPA Records. Limited vinyl pre-orders can be placed here. The album release concert will be held on Thursday, 2nd April 2015 in Gala Hala, Ljubljana.
