auto is a trio of long-standing players from the Slovenian underground and popular music scene who take us on a journey based on smooth, steady bass lines, precise and sharp drumming with jazz elements and a screaming guitar whose melodies often remind us of their Middle Eastern influences. The band meanders between the subgenres of jazz and blues, and when they step on the gas, they glide through the styles of krautrock, noise and progressive psychedelia.
Their journey began in 2021, and since then they’ve toured most of Slovenia’s alternative venues, as well as some international gigs. In May 2024, they released their debut LP on Kapa Records, simply titled auto, which received great critical acclaim.
